Dominique Rouleau MD, MSc, FRCSC
Biography
Dr. Rouleau received her medical degree from the Universite de Montreal and completed her first fellowship in Trauma surgery and a Master Degree In Epidemiology al the Hopital du Sacre-Coeur de Montreal in 2007. Then, she went on to finish a second fellowship in shoulder surgery, at University of Western Ontario. She obtained two grants to complete two traveling fellow in Europe in 2008 and 2012. In 2009, she was appointed assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the Universite de Montreal and was promoted to associate professor in 2015. Her research interests include shoulder and elbow surgery as well as trauma epidemiology. Dr. Rouleau founded and chaired the Canadian Shoulder & Elbow Society’s Residents Course in 2011 and 2012. She has published more than 111 papers and 4 books chapters, and has been invited to present at more than 50 National and International meetings.
